  • Unreal shots creation for R:demo videos. We are in charge of asset integration, environment creation, camera animations, lighting and rendering for 7 short videos.

  • The project covers 3 car variants. I set up a level variants sets system to simplify asset management and scene count, with a variant dropdown option in the render job.

  • We did several environments variations for the client, and researched how to correctly render a smoke-heavy scene in Unreal’s lit renderer.

  • Almost all the look is locked in-engine. Lighting and color grading matches the references and only some post-process effects are applied to the renders.

  • Building on the previous projects, i built a system to previs the on-screen titles to better prepare for the final editing cut very early, when working on the camera layout and animations. Also refined the import process. Sources files are provided in blender, and i developed a custom blender tooling suite to prep the data for import with minimal manual intervention. Geometry settings are automatically applied and materials matched against existing unreal library.
